Date: June 26, 2026
Time: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Location: LOUD Art Society 638 11 Ave SW #200 AB T2R 0E2

Join LOUD Art Society for a relaxed, beginner-friendly pottery workshop where you’ll design and hand-build your very own ceramic mug from scratch. Guided by ceramic artists Sowgand Nabipour and Kiumars Kamalinia, this hands-on session invites you to slow down, explore your creativity, and experience the calming rhythm of working with clay. No experience needed — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to create. You’ll receive step-by-step guidance from a professional ceramic artist as you learn basic hand-building techniques, experiment with form and texture, and craft a functional mug that’s uniquely yours. Once finished, your piece will be glazed and kiln-fired, ready for pickup in 20–25 days. This workshop is perfect for beginners, art lovers, or anyone seeking a grounding and creative experience. Come shape, slow down, and leave with a handmade mug — and a renewed sense of calm. All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring any special items you’d like to incorporate into your piece. Your finished mug will be kiln-fired, and we’ll contact you when it’s ready for pickup. Space is limited, so register early to secure your spot. This workshop is in support of LOUD Art Society’s fundraising efforts.
