Everyone’s journey is different. Here are three ways to begin yours 

with LOUD Art Society.

1-on-1 Sessions

Personal, guided creative sessions tailored to your needs. Work one-on-one with a therapeutic art practitioner at your own pace in a private, supportive environment.

Workshops

Group experiences in painting, songwriting, pottery, and more. Join a scheduled session or book an on-demand workshop for your community.

Corner of Creativity

A 6–8 week therapeutic painting program blending art, mindfulness, and self-reflection. Build emotional resilience and creative confidence in a safe, supportive group setting.

Visual Arts — paint, mold, create

Can be a refuge from the intense emotions associated with illness. In particular, molding clay can be a powerful way to help people express these feelings through tactile involvement at a somatic level. There are no limits to the imagination in finding creative ways of expressing grief and relieving anxiety.

Dance — move, express, release

Through the movement of mind and body in a creative way, stress and anxiety can be relieved, and other health benefits can be achieved as well. Movement-based creative expression focuses on nonverbal, primarily physical forms of expression as psychotherapeutic or healing tools.

Theatre Acting — play and express

Acting supports mental wellbeing by encouraging emotional expression, confidence, and connection. Through role-play and storytelling, participants explore new perspectives, build communication skills, reduce stress, and experience the healing power of creativity in a supportive environment.

Individuals who have written about their own traumatic experiences exhibit statistically significant improvements in various measures of physical health, reductions in visits to physicians, and better immune system functioning. Writing increases health and wellness in varied ways.
