Discover the art of glass painting with Julia Shim, a certified instructor from the Korea Glass Painting Association. In this workshop, you’ll explore various glass painting techniques and create a stunning, one-of-a-kind piece.

What You’ll Learn & Experience:

Learn the fundamentals of glass painting, including essential techniques for transferring designs onto glass surfaces. Engage in hands-on practice using professional glass paints and tools to bring your vision to life. Explore different artistic styles, from intricate designs to abstract expressions, with expert guidance. Follow step-by-step instruction from Julia to create a personalized glass artwork.

Once completed, your piece will undergo a kiln-firing process, ensuring a durable, non-peeling finish that is safe for hand washing with dish soap. Your finished artwork will be ready for pickup in 7-14 days after the firing process.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this session provides a unique opportunity to unleash your creativityand craft a stunning glass masterpiece.

About the Facilitator:

Julia Shim is the founder and artist behind Drawing with Me, a glass painting workshop designed to help individuals unleash their creativity. With a passion for delicate art and crafts, Julia has created a space where people can explore their artistic potential while benefiting from the therapeutic qualities of glass painting. She is dedicated to fostering a fun and welcoming environment for everyone, from beginners to experienced artists. Additionally, Julia has mastered a range of painting techniques as an instructor, including glass painting, transfer (decal) painting, crayon painting, and porcelain painting, all of which she learned in instructor courses in South Korea. She uses her deep knowledge and expertise to share these unique skills with her workshop participants.
